Following the success of his “Stop & Start” release, indie pop artist Joe Ramsey is back with folksy summery hit Won’t You.

James Bay meets Jason Mraz  or John Mayer meets Ben Howard in this heartfelt acoustic tune, perfect for a road trip or a summer party alike. The listener will have a hard time keeping still while listening to the catchy rhythm of the acoustic guitar, especially towards the bridge, where Ramsey’s vocals become almost a rap on a pounding percussion.

This hit doesn’t indulge in production whims and it keeps consistent with Joe’s genre, understated yet affecting voice-and-guitar style.

Won’t You is not the usual, already heard, love song: it explores the themes of uncertainty and life choices in a deep, emotive way. Nevertheless, the song still has a light-hearted mood that makes it enjoyable and fun.
