Aalta / Closer Than Ever / Single Review

The song is filled with electronica and dance aesthetics, where Lenachka’s vocals blend in perfectly. The verses are short, straight to the point and able to unleash the listener’s imagination.

AALTA is a fluid production team based in Los Angeles whose core is formed by Daniel Pashman and Rich Jacques. Both experienced producers and songwriters, Pashman and Jacques decided to team up and create music through unpredictable and ever-changing collaborations.

Rich Jacques is a Grammy-winning producer who has recently embarked into a solo project, while Daniel Pashman is a well-known songwriter and visual artist who has collected important collaborations throughout his career.

They are both credited as co-producers and co-writers of Jasmine Ash’s hit “High Wire,” which shares its playful and warm mood with their upcoming single “Closer Than Ever.” For this new project, Daniel and Rich found a perfect match in German singer and songwriter Lenachka. Quite accomplished herself, despite her very young age, Lenachka has a warm and strong voice which is instantly recognizable. It is no wonder she is well-known and appreciated in the Los Angeles scene.

The song is filled with electronica and dance aesthetics. Pads and synthesizers are intertwined into a chilled, laid-back groove, where Lenachka’s vocals blend in perfectly. The verses are short, straight to the point and able to unleash the listener’s imagination.

The saucy electronica sounds characterizing “Closer Than Ever,” combined to the sensuality of Lenachka’s singing, make the track perfect for today’s mainstream market.

“Closer Than Ever,” with its strong beat and uplifting mood, seems to tell the listener: “Just let go, dance, and have fun!” We would be delighted to hear it during one of our favorite summer parties.
